Dollar hits fresh 14-month high

THE dollar hit a fresh 14 month high of $US0.9137 at 2.55pm (AEDT) during today's domestic session.

It was the currency's highest level since it traded at $US0.9205 on August 6 last year, according to IRESS data.

The local unit first breached the $US0.9100 mark during yesterday's offshore session to touch $US0.9127.
