EUROPEAN stock markets suffered sharp losses overnight on rewnewed concerns for Greek finances, with the London FTSE 100 index giving up 1.51 per cent to close at 5100.23 points.
In Paris the CAC 40 fell 2.37 per cent to 3555.36 while in Frankfurt the DAX tumbled 1.44 per cent to 6115.48.
