EUROPEAN shares slipped overnight as recovery stalled in the eurozone and the Greek debt saga weighed on the markets, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index falling 0.37 per cent to 5142.45 points.
In Paris, the CAC 40 closed 0.49 per cent lower at 3599.07 points while Frankfurt's Dax limited its losses as it ended 0.06 per cent down at 5500.39 points.
